WHAT IS COMPRESSION THERAPY?

What to Expect During Your Visit

Compression therapy uses inflatable boots that gently squeeze and release your legs in a controlled sequence. The pressure moves in a specific pattern, helping blood and fluid flow back toward the heart and through the lymphatic system. Your muscles naturally act as a pump when you move, and compression therapy gives that pump a quiet assist while you sit back and do absolutely nothing.

Protocols developed with guidance from Dr. Jesse Morse, specializing in sports medicine, performance, recovery, and longevity-focused care.

Why choose Compression Therapy?

The Benefits of
Compression Therapy

SUPPORTS MUSCLE RECOVERY

Hard training leaves behind metabolic byproducts in the muscles. Compression helps clear those byproducts and may reduce delayed-onset muscle soreness, which is the deep ache you feel one to two days after a tough workout.

IMPROVES CIRCULATION

The compression sequence supports venous return, which means helping blood move from your legs back toward your heart more efficiently. Better circulation means better delivery of oxygen and nutrients to recovering tissue.

REDUCES LEG HEAVINESS AND FATIGUE

Whether you've been on your feet all day or sitting for hours, compression can help legs feel lighter and less stagnant. Most guests notice the difference immediately after a session.

SUPPORTS LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE

The lymphatic system is your body's fluid-clearing network. It moves immune cells, waste products, and inflammatory byproducts away from tissue. Compression gives that system a gentle, structured nudge.

Who Should Do
Compression Therapy?

  • ATHLETES AND ACTIVE GUESTS

If you're training hard and want to recover faster, compression is one of the most practical tools available. Low effort, real results.
  • PEOPLE ON THEIR FEET ALL DAY

Nurses, teachers, coaches, anyone whose job keeps them standing — compression is a straightforward reset for tired, heavy legs.
  • FREQUENT TRAVELERS

Long flights and long drives are hard on circulation. Compression helps move the fluid that tends to pool during extended sitting.
  • ANYONE WHO WANTS EASY RECOVERY

No heat, no cold, no effort required. If you want a recovery session that asks nothing of you, this is it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does it feel like?
The boots inflate and deflate in a rhythmic sequence, starting at the feet and moving upward. The pressure should feel firm but comfortable, never painful or sharp. If you feel tingling, numbness, or anything that doesn't feel right, let us know immediately.
Is this therapy private?
No—compression sessions take place in comfy chairs in our shared recovery lounge. It's a calm, relaxed environment.
Can I combine this with other therapies?
Absolutely. Compression pairs well with red light therapy either before or after your session. It also works nicely after sauna as a calm recovery wind-down, or after cold plunge once your body has fully rewarmed. The general idea is to move from stronger stimuli into gentler recovery tools.
Do I need to prepare anything beforehand?
Drink water before your session. Compression helps move fluid through the body, and the lymphatic system works best when you're well hydrated. Otherwise, just show up and get comfortable.
Is there a best time to use compression?
After your workout is the sweet spot. We recommend using compression as a recovery tool once training is complete, rather than during it, since the metabolic stress of a workout is actually part of what drives adaptation.
Will I feel a difference after just one session?
Many guests notice that their legs feel lighter and less fatigued right away. Deeper recovery benefits, like improved soreness patterns and faster readiness between workouts, tend to build with consistent use.
Can I track my progress with biometrics?
Yes. The simplest markers are how your legs feel — heaviness, soreness, and how quickly you feel ready for your next workout. For wearable users, HRV and resting heart rate can show whether your recovery is trending in the right direction. Guests dealing with swelling or fluid retention can also track limb circumference: simply measuring the same spot on the leg before and after sessions to see whether things are changing. For athletes in a training block, soreness scores and readiness scores are practical day-to-day tools.
Is compression therapy safe for everyone?
Compression is not appropriate for guests with a known or suspected blood clot, severe circulation disease, active skin infection, open wounds in the treatment area, uncontrolled heart failure, or certain vascular conditions. If any of those apply to you, please consult your doctor before booking.
Is this a medical treatment?
Compression therapy is a wellness and recovery tool, not a substitute for medical care. It's designed to support your body's natural circulation and recovery processes.
